Messina’s is proud to announce the grand opening of the Nouveau River Room at The MISI by Messina’s at Jax Brewery, expanding the venue from one to two floors of elegant riverfront event space. The newly completed fourth-floor build-out debuts with two private events and features a 500-guest capacity, multiple patios with panoramic views, and a luxurious modern New Orleans design—allowing multi-level experiences for up to 1,000 guests.
With this addition, The MISI joins Messina’s growing portfolio of standout venues, including Messina’s at the Terminal, The Rooftop on Basin at Basin St. Station, and exclusive catering partnerships with The J Collection Hotels, Pontchartrain Center and the Alario Center. Later this month, Messina’s will also assume the exclusive catering partnership for the Fair Grounds Race Course Clubhouse, further strengthening its presence across New Orleans’ most iconic destinations.

To celebrate the opening, The MISI will host Fête du Nouvel An, an upscale, all-inclusive New Year’s Eve celebration featuring a French-inspired menu curated by Chef Dominique Macquet, premium spirits and specialty cocktails, live music from The Top Cats, DJs on the heated patio, a Dohm Collective silent disco, and other festive surprises.
