Messina’s is proud to have been named one of The Times-Picayune’s “Top Workplaces” for 2025. The announcement was made at the newspaper’s 11th-annual awards dinner, held June 25 at the Higgins Hotel in downtown New Orleans, with nearly 300 people in attendance.

The program relies entirely on confidential employee surveys that measure workplace culture, leadership, values, communication and overall engagement. More than 40,000 employees participated this year, with 74 organizations earning a spot on the final list.

Messina’s was recognized in the small-employer division (fewer than 125 employees), joining companies drawn from a wide range of industries across southeast Louisiana. Construction firm RNGD, insurer LAMMICO and Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company captured the top honors in the midsize, small and large categories, respectively.

First launched in 2014, the Top Workplaces initiative aims to recognize employers that excel at prioritizing people. Full results, including detailed category winners and feature awards, are available on NOLA.com.
