Additional Information

Hot Food Items

All hot food items are prepared and packaged hot by default. If preferred, items can be provided cold for later reheating—just let us know when placing your order. Reheating instructions will be included on the packaging.

Serving Utensils

Each dish comes with complimentary disposable serving utensils. Disposable silverware sets and chafing dishes with sterno for warming are available for purchase.

Packaging & Storage

All items are packaged in clearly labeled foil pans or trays. Each includes easy-to-follow instructions for storage and reheating. Packaging is designed for convenience and transport.

Order Placement & Pickup

Orders must be placed at least 4 days in advance. During checkout, you’ll select your preferred pickup date and time.

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

When arriving, please proceed to the loading dock and ring the bell at the side door. A team member will bring the order directly to your vehicle.

Food Allergies

Messina’s Catering & Events prepares food in a commercial kitchen where common allergens — including but not limited to dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, and shellfish — are present. While we make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, cross-contamination is possible. We do not guarantee the absence of allergens in any of our products. If you or someone in your party has a severe food allergy, we recommend that you contact our team directly before placing an order. Messina’s is not responsible for allergic reactions resulting from food consumed that was ordered through our online system.

Refund Policy

We take great pride in preparing each order with care and precision. Because our gourmet meals are made to order, we are unable to offer refunds once an order has been prepared.

If you need to cancel your order, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance of your scheduled pickup time. Orders canceled with at least 72 hours’ notice will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before pickup may be subject to partial charges or be non-refundable, depending on the stage of preparation.

If there is an issue with your order upon pickup, please let our team know immediately so we can make it right. We are committed to providing a great experience and will do our best to address any concerns.
