Stacey Messina Featured in MSWIT Member Spotlight

Messina’s Catering & Events owner Stacey Messina has been selected as this month’s Member Spotlight by Mid South Women in Tourism (MSWIT), an organization dedicated to supporting and connecting women throughout the tourism and hospitality industries.

Founded in New Orleans in 1976, MSWIT encourages professional development, networking and leadership among women working in tourism-related fields across the region and beyond. The organization recognizes members who have made meaningful contributions to the industry and their communities.

In its spotlight feature, MSWIT highlighted Stacey’s more than 35 years of hospitality experience and her commitment to the industry. Stacey currently serves as President of the NACE New Orleans Chapter and as a Board Member for both SKAL International New Orleans and the French Quarter Business Association. She also holds the Certified Professional of Catering and Events (CPCE) designation and received the 2024 NACE Legacy Award for her support of the New Orleans hospitality industry.

Throughout her career, Stacey has remained committed to advancing the hospitality industry while helping grow Messina’s into one of the Gulf South’s leading food and beverage companies.

We are grateful to MSWIT for this recognition and proud to be part of a community of women making a lasting impact on the tourism and hospitality industry.

Congratulations, Stacey!
