Messina’s is proud to add two New Orleans special event venues to its portfolio of prestigious New Orleans event spaces. Messina’s Catering & Events was recently named a preferred caterer at River City Venues – Mardi Gras World and an approved caterer at Margaret Place Hotel.
River City Venues is the most sophisticated and sprawling event complex on the Mississippi. Strategically situated along the picturesque Mississippi River, this venue provides a stunning backdrop for any event. Boasting a variety of versatile spaces suitable for diverse event types, River City Venues is outfitted with cutting-edge audio-visual equipment, ensuring seamless execution of events. This unique complex can accommodate an intimate group of 20 up to a dynamic group of 20,000. Located just a stone’s throw from the Convention Center, River City Venues grants guests convenient access to the myriad attractions, dining options, and entertainment offerings of New Orleans. Margaret Place is the marriage of futuristic amenities with historic architecture, a central location with seclusion, and personal service with uniquely unrestrictive policies. The venue is named for Margaret Place Park, directly adjacent and containing the second oldest American statue of a woman. It’s only twelve blocks to the French Quarter and half a block off St. Charles Avenue, but it feels like a floating world with privacy, plentiful parking, and late hours available. This venue is optimized for flexible indoor-outdoor events, unifying its spacious semi-tropical courtyard with luxurious interiors. Above, the venue offers the city’s best bridal suite along with four other unrivaled guest rooms, sleeping a total of fourteen guests. This venue’s ideal couple takes full advantage of the spatial and aesthetic flexibility of the venue and emphasizes food, drink, and music for a party of 80-230.
