French Quarter Business Association Gala Shines at The MISI, New Orleans’ Newest Event Venue

Messina’s at The MISI was honored to host the French Quarter Business Association’s 2025 Gala-Fête en Blanc on June 5. More than 130 guests gathered along the river for “A White Night on the River,” arriving in elegant all-white attire to enjoy signature cuisine by Messina’s, a hosted open bar, and the soulful sounds of the John Autin Trio. The evening also featured a spirited silent and live auction, a wine raffle, and a 50/50 drawing—all in support of FQBA’s mission to promote the growth, success, and sustainability of businesses in the historic French Quarter.

This year’s gala was one of the first major events held at the brand-new MISI, where Messina’s is the exclusive caterer. Nestled on the third floor of the historic JAX Brewery, The MISI combines modern whimsy with old-world charm, offering expansive balconies with breathtaking views of both the Mississippi River and the French Quarter. It’s thoughtfully designed 8,500 square feet of event space—complete with rich architectural details and refined finishes—provided an unforgettable backdrop for the evening’s celebration.

With over 600 members representing restaurants, hotels, retail merchants, clubs, museums, and more, FQBA serves as a vital advocate for the district’s unique blend of commerce, culture, and community. Messina’s is proud to be an active member of an organization dedicated to preserving the charm and economic vitality of one of the world’s most iconic neighborhoods.
